Who Am I?​​

 

Alyson Gradwell Photography is an "I", not a "we". I began my career in photography in 2009 after graduating from The Art Institute of Philadelphia with a Bachelor's degree in Photography. I decided to become a photographer because I have a passion for photos and making people smile.

 

I believe in personal interactions and capturing genuine expressions. I love portrait photography, creating images that truly mean something to you. I do specialize in natural light, but supplement with an external flash when needed. I currently do not photograph with backdrops - so choosing the time and location carefully is important!

 

I am traveling the country with my husband, who is in the United States Navy. We have with us our beautiful daughters, Peyton and Reagan, and our rambunctious Bull Terrier, Oakley! 

 

Holiday, maternity, children, portraits, military, birthdays, engagements, weddings, pets, or other special events are always encouraged!

 

Basic editing will ALWAYS be included, and you will receive digital files, giving you the rights to your photos, of 10-25 images (special requests for more are negotiable). I do request a contract to be signed, which would allow me to use the images from your session on my website, however if there is a session or photograph that you would prefer to keep private, we can certainly discuss this as well!
